Wear and float

Float measures wear from 0 to 1. Factory New generally covers 0–0.07, Minimal Wear 0.07–0.15, Field-Tested 0.15–0.38, Well-Worn 0.38–0.45, and Battle-Scarred 0.45–1. Skin-specific float limits can narrow the available range. Visual wear also depends on the design.

Use the minimum and maximum float filters to search the provider catalog. Compare the actual listing, not just its exterior label.

Inspect the exact item

Catalog artwork shows a design, not necessarily the listing’s exact pattern. Check paint seed, Doppler phase, sticker placement and wear. Open “Inspect in Counter-Strike” when a Steam inspect link is supplied. An enlarged catalog preview is not an exact in-game screenshot.

Exact screenshots require an inspection or screenshot provider that is not connected yet. Collection, sticker and pattern filters can only use fields actually supplied by CSBoard.

Steam delivery and trade protection

A listing’s existing trade lock and protection after receipt are different. Steam says CS2 items received in a trade are protected for seven days. During protection they cannot be transferred, consumed or modified, though they can be equipped in-game. Protected trades may be reversed. Check the official rules and the order status before trading again.

Never give anyone your Steam password, authentication codes or API credentials. Inspect a trade offer carefully and confirm the receiving account. Our sandbox does not send Steam offers.

Compare prices carefully

Regular store prices include a 20% markup. Discount prices reduce this markup and use whole dollars. The marketplace range is $5–$5,000. Observed history is sampled asking-price history, not completed sales. The current grouped price snapshot can lag a specific listing.

A final checkout check verifies selected listing IDs and displayed prices. Quotes expire after 90 seconds and do not reserve stock. Skins have no guaranteed resale value.
