How to share a CS2 skin shortlist without losing the item details
Build a useful shared shortlist with full skin names, source labels, float values and timestamps—and know what to recheck afterwards.
Sharing a shortlist is useful when a friend wants to compare your options or help coordinate a loadout. A screenshot of a price alone loses important context. Keep the full weapon and finish name, exterior and listing source beside the number. The steps below describe our comparison workflow, not investment advice or a prediction of future skin prices.
Start with a small selection. SkinMarket24’s comparison tool accepts up to four listings and displays asking price, provider, wear, available float, pattern seed and a snapshot time. Search a finish, select the listings you want, then copy the comparison link. Opening that link restores the saved selection rather than promising those offers are still available.
Keep the sources distinct. A store asking price and an external provider asking price can represent different purchase arrangements. SkinMarket24 labels CSBoard store asks separately from DMarket external asks. Neither is evidence of a completed sale. Before deciding, check the current offer and any applicable costs rather than treating the smallest displayed number as an equivalent checkout quote.
Float is one useful detail, not a complete appearance assessment. Compare listings for the same finish and exterior, and keep missing float or seed information marked as unavailable. A pattern seed records an item detail; it does not, by itself, establish a premium or rarity classification. Avoid attaching a value claim that you cannot verify.
Use images for their stated purpose. Catalog artwork helps recognise a finish, while editorial illustrations explain a topic or set a scene. Neither documents every scratch, pattern position or sticker on an individual item. If a supported exact-item inspection link is available, use it to examine the item before relying on its appearance.
Treat a shared link as a discussion aid. The comparison’s values are editable snapshots, so the link is not proof of stock, an authenticated price quote or a reservation. Record which option you prefer and why, then revisit its skin page and refresh current listings. If the provider no longer supplies a detail, preserve that uncertainty rather than filling it with a guess.
A good final shortlist answers three questions: which appearance fits the loadout, which current asking price fits the budget, and which exact-item details remain unconfirmed? SkinMarket24 currently supports browsing and comparison with sandbox checkout; real purchasing and customer delivery are not enabled. Use the tool to organise research, and check the platform’s availability information before attempting a purchase.
